Vincent D. Vodola

Vincent D. Vodola, 72, of Bloomingdale, passed peacefully onto the Lord, November 18, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Carol Vodola, his two daughters and their husbands, Christa and Jeff Pampinella of Wantage and Denise and Tony Marciano of Bloomingdale. As well as his two grandchildren, Alexis and Christopher Marciano. Vinny grew up in Elmont, NY, graduating from Sewanhaka High School in Floral Park, NY. He moved with his wife and kids to Oakland, NJ in 1982. When not working, Vinny loved to work on his yard. He enjoyed big family and friend gatherings on the weekends and his passion was baseball. Although growing up in New York he became a huge Detroit Tigers fan. He would take yearly trips to Detroit to go see them play. He would go to all the Spring Trainings. And there wasnt a baseball trade show he didnt miss. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Francis Church, 868 Ringwood Ave., Haskell, NJ on December 15th, 11am with a Celebration of Life at the Bloomingdale Firemens Hall, 97 Hamburg Tpke., Bloomingdale, NJ to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Vinnys name to either charity below.
