Virginia E. Florance

Virginia E. Florance, age 89, lifelong resident of Bloomingdale, died Sunday, May 2, 2010. Mrs. Florance was born in Bloomingdale, NJ the daughter of the late James and the late Edith Olive (Griffith) Lowery. Virginia was a member of the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church for over 50 years, and was active in the Church Choir, Esther's Circle, taught Sunday school, and was a member of the Bloomingdale Golden Agers. She is survived by her beloved children, Sandra Florance, Jim Florance and his wife Barbara and Dennis Florance and his wife Karen, a loving brother, James Lowery and his wife Lorraine, four cherished grandchildren, and is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her devoted husband William Robert "Bob" Florance. Viewing houes hours will be Wednesday, May 5th, 2010, from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Thursday 10:00am at Bloomingdale United Methodist Church, Bloomingdale, NJ. Burial will follow at Pompton Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Lakes. NJ.
