Wallace Whritenour

Wallace Whritenour, age 91, of Butler, died Friday, August 8, 2014. Mr. Whritenour was born in Bloomingdale, NJ the son of the late Frank and the late Mary (Palmer) Whritenour. He served in the Army during World War II and was employed by Pompton Feed And Supply in Riverdale, NJ for 70 years. He is survived by his devoted wife of 69 loving years, Pearl (Suttle) Whritenour, two beloved children, Michael Whritenour and Rita Dagion, four cherished grandchildren, many adored great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Viewing hours will be held Monday from 3pm to 5pm, and 7pm to 9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held at the graveside Tuesday 10:00am at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Oak Ridge, NJ. Burial to follow the service.
