William A Carafello

William A. Carafello, age 71, of Seaside Heights, formerly of Vernon died Wednesday, January 8th, 2020. William was born in Paterson, NJ, the son of the late William and the late Irene (Solus) Carafello. He worked for many years as Supervisor for State Farm Insurance in Parsippany before retiring. William was a 1966 graduate of De Paul Catholic High School, captain of the football team and is a member of their Sports Hall of Fame for his outstanding football and baseball achievements. He had an infectious smile, loved to collect coupons, play the stocks and was a lifetime member of the "Carlo Rossi Tasting Club". He is survived by his devoted wife of 22 loving years, Janet, his beloved sons, Scott and Chris, his dear brothers, Jack and his wife Eileen, and Greg and his wife Christine, his loving cousins, brother and sister in laws and many cherished nieces, nephews and friends Viewing hours will be Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 4pm to 8pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Saturday, 7:00pm also at the funeral home. The final disposition will be private.
