William 'Bill' Willis

William Willis, 70, passed away on January 12, 2017. He was born in Butler to the late Willard and Vera (Ervey) Willis. William grew up here in Butler, graduated from Butler High School. He was part of the Kiel House Cats during his school years and went on to be a part of the Forever Gold Band playing for local events. Bill was also a member of Tri-Boro First Aid Squad, Rotary Club, and a member of the town council here in his home town. William loved sports. He coached Little League Baseball, and was an avid Yankee and Oakland Raiders fan. William retired as Head of the Morris County Road Department. William is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kathleen (Lefurge) Willis, his daughter, Stacey Willis and fianc Jorge Rodriquez, his daughter Lisa (Utter) Drada and husband Steve Drada, his son Roger Utter and wife Brandy (Rogers) Utter; his cherished grandchildren, Monika (Lay) Ofshinsky and husband David, Thomas Smith, Steven and William Drada, Austin Rogers, Konner and Emily Utter. Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10am also at the funeral home.
