Born on August 19, 1941, in the Bronx, NY, he embodied the spirit of resilience. William, a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, served in the Army, a chapter his life that shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and honor. After his military service, he returned home to fulfill his entrepreneurial dreams as the owner of American Seamless Corp. in Butler, NJ. He found great joy working alongside his sons, creating not just a successful business but memories that will last a lifetime.
He was known not just for his business acumen but for his infectious spirit. Friends and family alike would often describe him as "fun and a great guy." William had a unique way of making those around him feel cherished, often filling rooms with laughter and the lightness of his personality. He held court as the self-proclaimed 'King of Stupid Games,' delighting in friendly competitions of billiards, ping pong, darts, and bowling, always with a twinkle in his eye and a hearty laugh that was truly contagious.
A passionate outdoorsman, William loved fishing and hunting, where he found solace and peace. His love for golf was well-known, often bringing together old friends and family for a day out on the green. These hobbies were more than mere pastimes; they reflected his love for nature and kinship with those he held dear.
William was immensely proud of his family, which he regarded as his greatest accomplishment. He is survived by his two sons, Bill and his wife Marie, and Duane and his wife Kelly, who carry forward his legacy. He also leaves behind five grandchildren—Caeleigh, Jacob, Mitchell, Emily Banfield, and Molly Postas—whose lives he enriched with love, guidance, and countless cherished moments.
William was preceded in death by his dear parents, Louis and Yvonne (Szeneitas) Reger, who instilled in him the values of hard work and compassion and the love of his life, his devoted wife Gail. His memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who loved him—his laughter, his stories, and above all, his unwavering love for his family and friends.
