William Riemer, Sr.

William "Bill" Joseph Riemer, Sr., age 84, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Mr. Riemer was born in Hammond, LA, the son of the late George and the late Agnes (Morrill) Riemer. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a self employed Mason Contractor and loved to fish and hunt and spend time with his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Riemer, his beloved children, Billy Riemer, Beverly Riemer and Thomas Riemer and wife Connie,his loving siblings, Francis Riemer and Mary Patricia Van Zile, cherished grandchildren and his faithful dog, Blossom. Bill was pre deceased by his dear siblings, Charles, Frederick, George, Aubrey, Florence and Lorraine and his adored son Freddy. Viewing hours will be Sunday, August 24, 2014, from 5pm to 8pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral will be Monday 11:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, where a Mass will be offered. The final disposition will be held in private.
